Sometimes looking through tumblr posts absolutely disgusts me. I’ve built up a certain amount of resilience with regard to grammatical and syntactical ineptitude, but some of the mistakes I see are absolutely mind-boggling. The absurd uses of apostrophes, the over/under-use of punctuation, the flagrant misspellings of words; sometimes it’s just more than I can stand. You can call me a nerd, but I’d rather be a nerd than an idiot.
